About The Curragh

The Curragh Racecourse, the home of Irish flat racing, is based in County Kildare, Ireland.

The racecourse is home to Ireland’s five most important flat races, known as the Classics. Racing takes place 24 days each year from the mid-March until early November. Guided tours of the venue are available outside of race days. U18’s go FREE on all race days *when accompanied by an adult.

The Goffs Champagne Bar, in partnership with our official champagne partner Moët & Chandon, is open to all racegoers. It is located to the right of the entrance on the terrace above the lawn. Shuttle Buses

FREE Shuttle Buses on Race Days

The Curragh offer a FREE return bus service from Newbridge and Kildare train Stations for ALL fixtures.

Buses will commence with the arrival before the first race and finish an hour after the last meeting, or two hours for the larger festivals. Buses are scheduled with Irish Rail’s main train arrival and departure times in mind and will be updated and displayed below in the days leading up to the fixture.
