Known across the globe as the reference for Provence rosé, Whispering Angel announced its debut racing partnership in Ireland with The Curragh Racecourse, the home of flat racing, as the venue’s exclusive rosé.
The Whispering Angel Garden Bar will be an exciting addition for racegoers during September with the opportunity to enjoy the award winning rosé in the heart of the venue and amidst all the action. The location is one of the very best places to enjoy a chilled glass of Whispering Angel rosé, with the marquee boasting both indoor and outdoor seating areas to cater to all preferences.
Whispering Angel is crafted from a variety of Grenache, Cinsault and Rolle (Vermentino) grapes, grown on 10 to 12 year old vines in the surrounding region of La Motte En Provence. Premium, versatile and dry, Whispering Angel rosé encapsulates those idyllic special moments with those closest to you. When enjoying Whispering Angel, one is instantly drawn to its renowned and delightfully pale colour. On the very first sip, delicate aromas of fresh citrus, rose petal, and red fruits dance along the palette, the perfect and most desirable combination for rosé lovers worldwide.
Speaking of the partnership, Moët Hennessy Brand Director, Elaine Cullen says, “Whispering Angel is known as the global reference for Provence rosé and so it’s perfectly fitting that our first Irish racing partnership would be at the home of Irish racing, The Curragh Racecourse. We welcome the synergies between two icons, both known for elegance, enjoyment and celebration with friends. Whispering Angel is proud to partner with The Curragh for the first time this year as their exclusive rosé and look forward to celebrating many more wins together this September.”
Three high profile September race days kick off with day two of Irish Champions Festival on Sunday 15th September. Featuring some of the world’s best horses and jockeys, this is one of the premier days in the Irish horse racing calendar, with the eight-race programme presenting a record four Group 1 races. The Autumn Racing weekend follows, featuring the highly anticipated Goffs Millions Race Day on Saturday 28th September, while on Sunday 29th September the Friends of The Curragh Irish Cesarewitch takes centre stage, a race that every owner would like to win as the most competitive and valuable handicap race In Europe with total prize money of €600,000.
Evan Arkwright, Racing and Sponsorship Manager of The Curragh commented, “We are delighted to partner with the world’s most famous and popular rosé as we build important relationships with leading brands to enhance the overall race day experience.
