Curragh specialist Ano Syra is one of 9 runners who will line up in the Darley Brigid’s Pastures Stakes. The valuable Listed race is the feature of a competitive 8 race programme at The Curragh this Saturday, 5th October. Other notable contenders include Firebird, Dance Night Andday, Navassa Ireland and Shandy.
15 of Ireland’s top female jockeys are included in the line up to win the Newbridge Silverware Trophy including Jody Townend and Aine O’Connor, while there are 11 of Ireland’s top apprentice jockeys in the Al Basti Equiworld, Dubai Apprentice Handicap including Wayne Hassett and Wesley Joyce, who are both in the running for the overall Apprentice title this year.
There are 27 runners in the Al Basti Equiworld Dubai Handicap, 14 in the opening Irish Stallion Farms Maiden for colts, 17 in the Irish Stallion Farms Maiden for Fillies, 10 in the Fleetwood Paints Handicap and 19 in the Gormley’s Gallery Handicap.
