LYRA SET TO SEEK OUT THE K CLUB’S MOST STYLISH RACEGOER AT THIS YEAR’S DUBAI DUTY FREE IRISH DERBY FESTIVAL
Cork singing sensation and style queen Lyra has been revealed as the star judge for The K Club’s Most Stylish Racegoer contest on day two of this year’s hotly anticipated Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby Festival.
A fashion force to be reckoned with, the singer-songwriter will be hot-footing it to The Curragh for the second day of the Festival on Saturday 29th June, when The K Club will be the lead style partner in search of the most a la mode attendee embracing this year’s theme of ‘Power Chic’.
Joining Lyra at one of the most prestigious festivals in the international racing calendar to help decide who of the hundreds of racegoers deserves the coveted Most Stylish title will be Image Magazine’s Dominique McMullan.
Having always embraced her own independent style, Lyra has some words of wisdom for those hoping to land The K Club’s coveted title. She says: “What I love about ‘Most Stylish’ is that it’s not necessarily about being ‘on trend’ it’s about a playfulness with your own individual sense of style whilst staying true to your most authentic self. My advice is, don’t think about what you should wear to catch a judge’s eye, find your own look that makes you feel good and walk tall with confidence and power. People cannot help but notice that.”
Open to all racegoers – not just the ladies – the lucky winner will not only take home the title of The K Club’s Most Stylish Racegoer but will also be treated to an incredible prize of three nights in a luxury suite for them and a guest at The K Club county Kildare. The prize includes breakfast each morning and dinner every night in each of the luxury resort’s three on-site restaurants; The Barton, The Palmer, and South Bar & Restaurant. The experience also features a long list of fabulous activities including: wine cellar tour & tasting experience, 50 minute spa treatment, whiskey tasting for two, a choice of horse riding, clay-pigeon shooting, archery or air rifle shooting.
